“Fireflies on air” is a sound project to be listened to every day at 8:25 p.m during Bright Generations – Générations Lumineuses, taking place in Marseille from March 23 to 29, 2025. We invite you to meet performing arts professionals for young audiences from around the world!

Bright Generations is a global event bringing together more than 50 countries, and is organized by Scènes d’enfance – ASSITEJ France, in partnership with Théâtre Massalia, a nationally designated venue of interest for “Art, Childhood, Youth” and ASSITEJ International.

Bright Generations features a program of over 120 events, including shows, professional meetings, workshops, and social events. It’s an opportunity to celebrate bright youth, the incredible vitality, luminescence, and effervescence of a committed and passionate sector striving to bring a glimmer of hope to the world of tomorrow.

Bright Generations also marks the culmination of La Fédération des Lucioles, a large poetic and political traveling event led by Scènes d’enfance – ASSITEJ France in collaboration with Les Tréteaux de France, aiming to shine a light on young audiences’ creations across different regions.

(You will hear the end of a reading of the text written by Catherine Verlaguet for the Grand Tour des Lucioles, performed by CM1 students of Anouk Boisliveau and Léa Grosjean from Anatole France School in Gennevilliers, as part of the Festival Jeune et Très Jeune Public de Gennevilliers.
